Homeopathy is based on the principle of "like cures like". According to this principle, an illness is treated by a remedy that induces similar symptoms to those suffered by the patient. The dilution of a substance allows the body to build a tolerance and resistance which henceforth allows the body to heal itself naturally. Homeopathy is remedied to suit each individual patient.

Homeopathy was created in 1796 by Samuel Hahnemann and is used worldwide to this day.
